WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Petrolia takes its obligations as a public institution and employer seriously; AND WHEREAS council and staff must ensure any internal investigation is handled professionally and with appropriate regard to fairness and Page 2 of 4 Council - Special Meeting October 20, 2017 due process; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Petrolia appoint John E.Fleming to conduct an internal investigation in reference to item Personal 2017-07; AND THAT Mr. John Fleming report back to Council, once his investigation is complete; AND THAT Mr. Manny Baron, Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk of the Town of Petrolia be placed on paid administrative leave, effective immediately; AND THAT Mrs. Mandi Pearson, Deputy Clerk/Operations Clerk of the Town of Petrolia oversee municipal operations at Town Hall during this time;
