Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee

THAT the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee approve the agenda as presented.

THAT the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee approve minutes of the November 1st, 2023 committee meeting, as circulated

That the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee nominate Ross Ellsworth as chair for 2024.

That the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee accept with regret the resignation of Mr. Noah Stek as youth representative AND THAT the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee send a thank you card and a gift certificate for an item of Petrolia 150 Swag to Noah Stek for his years of volunteerism, AND THAT council be advised the same and that next steps will be to try to fill the vacancy and post specific for the replacement of youth member on the committee

THAT the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee supports the proposal and recommends a location north of the arena entrance near the existing bench, pending appropriate approval from the Petrolia and Enniskillen Agricultural Society, AND THAT an emphasis be placed on solid surface landscaping and a low maintenance garden.

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 8:37pm
