Insuring Designated Heritage Properties May 9, 2018 email from Beth Hackett regarding insuring designated heritage properties. The underwriting department at Lambton, said they could change the heritage designation on the rebuild of a home if the Petrolia Heritage committee sends a letter that the client does not have to rebuild with any specific guidelines. Does that make sense? NOTE: Liz has contacted the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport and the National Trust of Canada for advice on the letter content.
